Sustainably-made, versatile day to eveningwear
167 Houtman Rd
Saugerties, NY 12477
Our process starts by hand drawing, painting designs and creating textiles that will eventually become a work of wearable fiber art. With attention to color, line, movement and light we create a contemporary look that is timeless, versatile and wearable.
Immersing ourselves in our extensive vintage textile archive, we extract, discover and uncover patterns, lines, repetitions and new dimensions. We combine our patterns found in nature on our daily walks, finding a balance that is grounding, complementing the body while simultaneously connecting with nature, we aim to bring the cycles of the past to being present.
With a passion and commitment to sustainability, recycling and reconstructing, we use responsibly grown 100% cotton yarn for our wraps and capes and cotton and a viscose made from bamboo trees and recycled fiber to minimize our carbon footprint. We machine knit, shape, felt and sew our knitwear collection using the finest long ply organic cotton yarn allowing us to create pieces with a great hand that are machine washable.
Based in our solar powered studio in the Hudson Valley making in small batches and to order, our continued intention is to create with zero waste a timeless, wearable art piece with a great hand for a lifetime of wearing and enjoyment
